While we're waiting for the story to get a jumpstart, I was thought it might be fun to have some side threads going. Different characters, different situations. Something to get our creative juices flowing. (Key - no comments on juices. Don't glower at me either. I know it had already crossed your mind.)

My thought was to make it rather free flowing in nature without any predetermined course of action. Just something to do when it gets slow around here.

What think you?

Either or, Shae. My intention had been to keep it within the Tombstone context or within Planescape in general. I don't know how familiar everyone is with the planes and/or Sigil. I was looking through the lexicon and thought it would be fun to toss out a character who could use the slang.

*shrug* But, I can always be persuaded if there's a different idea out there. Something more generic might garner more attention.

Tombstone is my first foray into the Planes, so a similar setting would at least help me get some more background info, but I'm up for anything.

Then, might I suggest something in Sigil. It's somewhat the center of the planes, also called the City of Doors. Here's some brief info on Planescape: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planescape

Learning the Cant will go a long way to immersing yourself in the multiverse of Planescape. Tombstone is a facet of that, a crossroads if you will, that touches on all the planes. (I'm pulling from memory here and don't know/understand the Planescape world as good as I should.) I always enjoyed the grit of Sigil.

Anyway, I'll toss something up tomorrow to get us started!

It was really only to pass the time until the main game got back up on its feet. That didn't really happen, but I'm glad for it to continue anyway!

I've always tried to encourage my players to run side stories when they get the urge to do so.... and if they have something they would like to add to the main story is fine too, just let me know ahead of time on that one so I can work it in...
This is not just my group ladies, it's our group and anything you all can come up with to make it better, add a bit of fun or just whatever tickles your fancy... by all means bring it to the table...
